ReplyDeleteI think maybe initially, when children are first introduced to television, the bright colours and movement maybe attractive to them, but as they get older I think it could be the fact that with animation there are endless possibilities. I'm not sure if making animation themselves would change their perception - would they come up with animated versions of real-life situations or would they stick with otherwise impossible stories of make-believe?
its a hard one - maybe you should try it with them!

we are going to join two projects in one, we will use the setting that children make in art alongside and i will ask to make a characters and (hopefully)will get children to move them around in the setting so they can see the proccess of the movement.
