The Day 3 in the School

The previous project is finished and I can see that the children are happy with the result. Time for the next one. After the PowerPoint presentation of different style and use interiors the children are asked to draw their own dream interior or two. I think that perhaps only the visual perception was preoccupied during the presentation and a superficial discussion was created. I could see that when the children returned to their sketch pad they didn't show much reflection to the material they had seen in the presentation. I think that this is something that I will take in consideration when I will prepare for my own project in this class.
By the way there is something I want ask to my follower's family: how do you think is that appropriate to ask the children to hide their own work from the other classmates? Just in case they might copy any idea that is not their own.

  1. Reminds me of when I was in school and that was a long time ago!!!! would have thought that the teachers would be building each childs confidence so that they don't need or want to copy and therefore don't need to hide their books. I suppose the teachers do it to try and make each child work for themselves but there has to be a better way a sharing of info that doesn't involve outright copying. Having said that isn't most general education about copying rather than learning to learn.

  2. i think the same there is no need to say no to sharing but rather encourage to think until next class and come up with variety of ideas and then in class work out which one to leave in.
